2022.01.17 13:07 hex72 [Feedback/Thoughts] Web3 social investment platform + thematic indexes?
Hey friends, I'd love some feedback on an idea I'm working on!
Investing in crypto is easy, but there's a barrier to getting started. The barrier isn’t made up of fees, lack of availability or accessibility - it’s a psychological barrier. Most people think that digital assets just aren't for them - feeling comfortable and knowing what to do is hard. In the same way public.com and smallcase.com solved this in TradFi, I'm keen to see how this would play out in the digital asset space where hurdles are even greater.
That's why I decided to work on building this out to help onboard people and build confidence in web3 participation. Instead of going to Coinbase and having to worry about what tokens to buy etc., you'd be able to connect a wallet, follow top investors and see their stats on chain and create and build thematic indexes.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on something like this. What are your biggest concerns, what would convince you to try this out, what would get you to trust a new startup building something like this? Suggestions on how to market to target customers would be great too!
Here are the pro’s and con’s that I see:

2022.01.17 13:07 stuip57 Processor Confusion
I'm thinking about using a i7 12700F in my build but I've found that it's base clock for P cores is 2.1 GHz and the i7 12700KF has a 3.6 GHz. I though the only difference between the two processors was OC locked or unlocked. Can the i7 12700F just turbo its way to those frequencies and stay there when given the thermal headroom or will it only rarely do that despite thermals?

Hey guys, I submitted my UMass and purdue apps before the deadline in my local time but common app said that I submitted it late. When I go into their portals, it says that I submitted it on the 16th and they received my materials on the 17th. I'm freaking out rn. Would this hurt my chances at all?

2022.01.17 13:07 Ok_Exercise2724 Tips for a reactive dog living in a busy city like NYC!
My dog, Bear, is a little over a year and a half and he's a neutered mutt. He's mostly chihuahua and manchester terrier but is mixed with other breeds as well. I got him in the middle of the pandemic like most people did and I got him from Texas (I live in NYC) so when he was 3 or 4 months old, I had to take him on a plane. He was very friendly with me and other people however, the woman I received him from lied about him having his shots so when I landed in NYC, it was like he was starting all over again. Being said, he wasn't going on walks until he was 6 or 7 months old and once we were able to, it was very cold and there weren't many people and dogs outside.
Before he was able to walk on the ground, I would hold him in my arms and take a short walk around the neighborhood so he could get used to the sounds and the smells. However, I soon noticed that he is reactive to strangers! He has gotten better after socializing him a bit more but a little less than a year ago, we had a set back and he and another male dog got into a fight and my dog ended up in the vet. Since then, my dog no longer gets along well with boy dogs (even his old friends) especially if they're not neutered. He has never bitten another dog or person but will sometime snap at other boy dogs. When he's on walks, he tends to lunge and bark and tries to jump on people.
Because I live in NYC, am 21 and don't have a car, I have to take him on public transport a lot and for the most part, he's well behaved and sits on my lap muzzled. However, he gets really overwhelmed when there's lots of people outside or when people walk past him (he's pretty well behaved when he's the one walking past). I was wondering if any of you live in big cities or NYC and if you have any tips for training your dog being that most dog parks aren't close by and there are always so many dogs and people! Thank you again and hope you all have great days:)

2022.01.17 13:07 gabrrdt Jogo "Fall Guys"
